Training Introduction
The goal of this ministry is to facilitate others in enjoying intimacy with God. So, before jumping into the training material it is critical that we grasp the fact that we must first enjoy encountering God ourselves if we are to help others encounter Him.
Therefore we suggest that as each aspect of the training unfolds, we go to God and ask Him if there is anything He has to say to us personally about it.
Secondly, this ministry is not intended to provide tools for you to fix anybody! It is all too easy for us to think we know what someone needs and attempt to manipulate or control the direction of the dialogue with the Father. Instead, we must surrender any preconceptions or agendas and recognize that He alone knows what the person needs so that we remain utterly dependent upon and responsive to His leading.
This material does not equip you to minister as an LPM Facilitator! You will first need to receive ministry, observe others receiving ministry and then have a mentor oversee while you learn to facilitate.
The original training videos were filmed in 2011 and we are so thankful that finally, after 10 years, the Lord has, in His time, provided the opportunity to update the material. This training closely follows the updated Facilitator's Guide which you will need to print out so you can gain what is necessary. Once you have become familiar with the material as you facilitate sessions, you will no longer need some of the pages in the Guide that have been included to assist in understanding typical flow and transitions.
