For years, this website has only been accessible to those who, with permission, were interning as facilitators for Listening Prayer Ministry. However, restricted access also limited the number of those who can use it. As those numbers have grown we have found it necessary to now make this blog unlisted, so making it available to anyone who comes to this site enabling them to access this material without first seeking permission.
By doing so, we want to be clear that this material alone does not equip anyone to facilitate this particular model of Listening Prayer! These are resources that we recommend are initially used in conjunction with a proven Listening Prayer facilitator who will act as a mentor during the intern process.
Originally, we drew from a variety of other ministries and developed and tailored this model to address the needs we have encountered. We understand that the term Listening Prayer is used by other ministries, but the material here is very largely ours.
The goal of this Listening Prayer Ministry model is simply to facilitate intimacy with God – Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit – through direct dialogue with the “Wonderful Counselor”.
Our desire is to equip recipients to have confidence that they can go to Jesus as their primary Source and be discipled by Him! It is not to create any dependence upon this ministry!

It is encountering God Himself that fundamentally changes us and these simple and easily reproducible tools provide a way for us to invite Him to help us overcome lies and wounds that hinder the life-transforming intimacy with Him that we were created for.
Jesus died to make a way for us to experience enjoyable friendship with the Father. He is far more motivated than we are to connect at a heart level. We should not settle for less.
The latest Listening Prayer Ministry Facilitator’s Binder must be printed so you can follow the training videos. After 10 years, the Lord opened the way for us to update our videos, which were filmed in May 2021 in Boone, North Carolina.
